Every once in a while, most readers of historical books will run a cross the idea that for a country at war it is as important to know when you have lost, as it is to know when you have one. That seems to be the case for the U.S. government in the current war with Iran. Indeed, we seem to be unaware that the U.S. military is attacking one supposed enemy named Iran, while simultaneously being allied with Israel, which is now clearly a far more dangerous threat to the United States both in the Iran war and in terms of the domestic sovereignty of the American republic. In essence, the U.S. is seeking a victory against Iraq that clearly would be a catastrophe for the republic.
If somehow the U.S. wins the Iran war, the resulting environment in the Middle East will feature the continuing Israeli effort to implement its “Greater Israel Project”, which will enable Israel to continue being a lawless entity concerned only with its own interests and operating with regional goals of complete domination and the ongoing extermination of those Muslims it considers as less-than-human-threat.
More important for the United States, an Israeli victory would forever label the United States as Israel’s slave, a fact that the Israelis would never let the world forget. We now stand as a nation that claims to be the world’s dominant power, but has been willingly lied into a war by its Israeli “ally” and has been stopped by Israel on several occasions from ending the lost Iran war.
While little has been said by Trump’s Administration or really, any politician from either party, about the non-economic impact of the war, the war clearly has revealed to Americans the almost unbelievable depth to which the Israelis and their Jewish-American gangster-supporters have wormed their way into calling numerous shots in the way Americans are treated as citizens. The whole of the U.S. Congress has proven itself to be completely controlled by Israel, pressing Trump ever harder to continue the war against Iran, and do everything possible to silence criticism of the U.S.-Israel relationship by American citizens. It has come to the point where members of Congress are more than earning their fat Israeli pay checks by speaking out against Americans critical of Israel. They also are trying to integrate the Israeli military into that of the United States. The latter would ensure America must follow Israel into every war on Muslims that it starts, and it also ensures the passage of legislation that would severely limit the free-speech protections Americans derive from the 1st Amendment if citizens chose to damn or even just criticize Israel.
Finally, the Iran war has again shown young Americans that all of the slop that comes forth from the White House, the State Department, the Pentagon describing the struggle the United States wages for the protection of the rights of all of the world’s people in nothing more than tiresome hooey. Since America recognized Israel in 1949, the United States government has in effect supported the ongoing murder of Palestinians of all ages. To be sure, the Palestinians have fought back in their own defense, which is surely their right. But the Palestinians have also been subject – until recently — to the United States and most NATO countries either openly or tacitly endorsing the Israelis as “good guys” and so are entitled to protect themselves even to the point of obvious genocide.
Young Americans, probably will also wonder – as does at least this one old American – how in the world the leaders of the United States and Europe can be so afraid of Iran having one or several nuclear weapons. The peoples of these nations have gone to bed nightly and slept well while knowing that the Russia and China have thousands of highly sophisticated nuclear weapons, and yet their government leaders have not descended into such hot and undignified war-starting words as those that are now routinely used against Iran, as in Trump’s “I will ensure Iran never has a nuclear weapon!” Clearly this contradiction fools now one, not even those who have suffered under the piss-poor and wholly demented U.S. education system. What American leaders are saying is that Iran will never have a nuclear weapon, because it could be used against our most important ally (?) Israel.
In sum, this war with Iran is nothing more than the mighty and respected – or at least once mighty and respected — United States showing its always eager willingness to get down on its knees and unquestioningly serve the mandates issued to it by the Israeli government, as it has done for most of the past 75 years. In the name of God, Trump should withdraw from this war today, immediately bring home what’s left of the beaten-up, badly-led, and under-supplied U.S. military, and break relations with Israel permanently. Thereafter, Trump should take a week off and seek out a reputable historian to explain to him what the term ‘America First” means. By doing so he will learn – apparently for the first time – that the term means that the United States must never go looking for unnecessary wars to fight, and most especially not wars that require the republic to fight alongside so-called allies that are feckless, dishonorable, mass-murdering, and clearly genuine enemies of the United States of America.
