Wait ends, Maduro in the can, more data on election fixing, but still constitutional distress

–Under Trump’s order, the U.S. military captured Venezuelan President Maduro and his wife and brought them to the United States to face the music. Several U.S. military personnel were wounded and a helicopter was beat up, but all personnel involved and the helicopter were recovered. The story now is that Maduro may also be a key to finally bringing closure to the rigged elections America has suffered through since at least 1920. Maduro’s lieutenants are reported to be in charge of producing the vote-counting machines that have been used for fixing U.S. elections, and that operation would never be conducted without the full knowledge of Venezuela’s President. How credible a witness Maduro would be against the legion of Democrats and NGOs who ran the fixed voting is hard to know, but if Trump and his crew actually have the proof of the fixing-crimes they claim to hold, Maduro’ presence in the United States, and the knowledge held in his head, may prompt some of those vote-fixing Democratic Chieftains to seek plea deals at an early date, and thereby get some of the better prison cells, if they are not already taken by their Somali employers. For myself, the topping on this cake would be to find that Israel and or its serving or retired Unit 8200 cyber-specialists have some hand in the crime of election-fixing, which for a foreign country should be regarded as an act of war.

Trump stands today as man who has taken a chance on mucking up his political future career, and who still faces many Republicans and Democrats that would like to see him roasting in hell. But he prevailed in Venezuela in defending America as he said he would and, so far, U.S. actions in that country have not led to another feckless interventionist effort to build a democracy there. Trump has faced a good deal of media criticism over Venezuela for several months – as well as a goodly amount from this space – but today he looks like aces and surely is America is better off.

But the issue of U.S. relations with the Southern Hemisphere is still full of problems. The morons who cannot see that the UN, international law, and Globalism have done nothing but bring on wars since 1945 should go suck eggs. 80-plus years after the UN’s founding it has proven itself capable of only mass rape by its forces, severe anti-Americanism, extortion by its officers, and playing a key role in Covid, which killed 30 Million people around the world. But these morons still hold power in many places, even though they are not worth a tinker’s damn in the contemporary world. Indeed, they are capable only of deciding on their next lethal scam. Likewise, the three institutions have proven eternally feckless in stopping war, while being eternally eager to destroy Western democracy and constitutionalism wherever they are found.

All this said, America is still faced with the severe constitutional problem of having presidents who go to war without the approval – by a recorded and televised vote – of the Congress. Most Americans could not give a good-god-damn about either international law or its experts, which invariably, in the post-1945 era, have worked with a passion to tear down the West. Given this record, very few Americans are much worried about the what international lawyers, judges, the UN and their shrill complaints about Trump’s successful effort to seal the border and gun-down every drug-runner he can find and sink their ships and kill their sailors, whether on the boats or in in the water. What Americans care about is their kids, their jobs, their homes, their liberties their republic, and their Constitution. And, on the latter point, lies the country’s stark and dangerous-to-liberty dilemma.

The U.S. Constitution unequivocally demands U.S. presidents secure the majority approval of Congress before going to war. Trump and all presidents since 1945 have gotten a grade of “F” on this score. And all of the post-1945 wars fought without a congressional declaration of war have had a negative on impact on every aspect of life most treasured by Americans, especially the waste of their kids’ lives and the reduction of civil liberties that every post-1945 war has produced. Presidential wars are War-Lord wars, not the wars of a constitutional democracy. America has been lucky so far to have survived eight-decades of deliberate trampling of the Constitution. But luck never, ever, lasts forever. Trump is slowly digging America out of the Democratic made economic abyss, but if he comes away from the Maduro operation with enthusiasm for more and larger military interventions, he may well finally finish off the American republic.
